Silk & Spice Bellydance Troupe, Wednesdays @ 6:30pm, February 19-April 23, 2025
This class runs Wednesdays for 10 weeks, February 19-April 23 @ 6:30pm
Creative Healing & Fitness: 518 Main Street, Lyndonville, Vermont
Every body welcome! This class is for students who have taken one year previous classes with Magdalene (or will take this in tandem with Foundations) and are ready to explore Middle Eastern dance on a deeper level. We will continue to use the rhythms and music of North Africa to practice drills within specific philosophies and frameworks of dance. With practice, students will work by themselves and in groups to create fun and interesting combinations! This class can be taken on its own or paired with the Foundations class to sharpen technique. All classes with Magdalene are safe spaces, body positive, and supportive while deeply appreciating and respecting this dance’s cultures of origin.
Performance opportunities may be available at the cost to the participant (costuming, travel expenses, etc). There is NO requirement to perform.
Because this is a 10-week choreography session, where learning and comfort with movement will build over time, it is not a drop-in class. Cost $200
Class size is limited! Registration and payment must be completed online to reserve your space.
